In addition to the humanitarian projects AVANZAR is involved in, it offers beneficiaries the option of attending courses and learning a skill that will allow them to improve their standard of living, self-esteem, and financial situation.
Offering training courses to the underprivileged has been AVANZAR’s main goal since 2009. Providing training is the best way to accomplish effective and sustainable progress. These courses are offered with the support of local organizations and volunteers such as the Banco Central del Ecuador, the Universidad del Azuay, the San Isidro Gastronomy School, the Universidad Politecnica Salesiana, the Universidad Catolica de Cuenca as well as a number of professionals. Funds are raised primarily in Switzerland.
AVANZAR supports groups and individuals as they organize themselves, come up with a business idea, apply for and receive micro-credits (from us or a governmental institution), and start their own businesses.
