Soap Making
All our programs are geared towards providing the participants with a skill they can use to improve their and their families' livelihoods. Soap making is creative, useful, and can be done with little expense. The soaps can then be easily sold in boutiques, fairs, and markets and are thus ideal products for women seeking to provide an additional income for their families.
During the 8-day course, the participants learn everything from the composition and formulation of soaps to the different types of soaps, molds, and additives that can be used to individualize the offering, and how to best present their products to successfully sell them. The course concludes with an exam and a certificate confirming the participants' successful completion of this course.
